Camélia Jordana inaugurates the 34th Hyères Festival

All of Paris descended on the Villa Noailles on April 25th for the 34th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories. Cloudy weather aside, the exhibitions included such bright spots as Craig McDean’s “One of One” and an installation by the duo behind Botter (winners of the 2018 Grand Prix du jury mode). This year’s jury presidents included Natacha Ramsay-Levy for fashion, Craig McDean for photography, and Charlotte Chesnais for fashion accessories. On the inaugural day, Jean-Pierre Blanc (founder of the Festival) and Pascale Mussard (president of Villa Noailles) wore their most beautiful hats to “Make Fashion Big Again.” The crowd at Villa included Liya Kebede, Sophie Fontanel, Eddy de Pretto, Patrick Goossens, and actors Charles Berling and Arnaud Valois. Camélia Jordana opened the Festival with a garden concert, while Farid Ayellem and Arnaud Caizergues delivered a high-flying acrobatic rooftop performance.
