July saw the rebirth of a legend. After several months of renovation work, the Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris reopened its mythical doors this summer on the most beautiful avenue in the world. It was time to celebrate this reopening in good and due form. Dominique Desseigne, president of the Barrière group, invited friends of the cinema and the small screen to discover the salons rethought by Jacques Garcia in a very “Café Society” spirit from 1650-1960. Estelle Lefébure, Nicolas Bedos, Elsa Zylberstein, Claude Lelouch or Louise Bourgoin were welcomed to the gypsy sound of a music group and were able to enjoy the hushed and elegant atmosphere of the hotel with its many lounges and alcoves, and to sit in the armchairs of the Bar Le Marta in gold and purple velvet upholstery. The legend of the Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris continues to be written… A review of an evening where luxury becomes the art of living.
