Time for music, art, and laundry at the GORE-TEX Launderette

The declared goal is to give everyone a firsthand experience of the sustainability and durability of GORE-TEX products. To achieve this, the brand founded by Wilbert L. and Genevieve Gore invited cultural figures, journalists, influencers, and various personalities to the GORE-TEX Launderette—a space that’s part laundry, part multifunctional venue, set up inside Lavagettone in the Dateo area. The idea was for them to bring their GORE-TEX clothes and shoes to test the iconic membrane’s quality and resistance “live” with a quick wash. Could there have been a simpler and more effective way to let people experience the unique features of such a product? Probably not.

The event took place the other day at the immersive GORE-TEX Launderette, within a striking installation designed by the AT Studio collective, composed of Stella Stone and Joshua Billsborough, who also performed an engaging live painting. Among the guests at the rendezvous, we captured Antonio Colomboni, Diego Passoni, Ginevra Iorio, Simone Bredariol, and Paride Vitale. Each of them was captivated by the sounds of Acidgigi, a producer, DJ and sound designer who ignites Milan’s hottest dancefloors.
