Gérard Darel and Joséphine de La Baume Host INTERLOPE’s Launch Dinner in London
There’s no denying it: in London, the nightlife is just as rewarding as daytime activities. On Monday evening, Joséphine de La Baume, Maison Darel and INTERLOPE hosted an intimate French-style dinner. Alongside her partner, musician Carlos O’Connell, the actress gathered around thirty guests at Space Talk, including Sienna Miller, Georgia May Jagger, Camille Charrière, Alice Dellal, Amelia Dimoldenberg and face of the brand Camille Rowe. Seated around a single square table, the dinner unfolded without the distraction of selfies or ever-present phones, late into the night. Together, they embodied the brand’s philosophy: creating moments where dialogue and genuine encounters prevail.
Because that’s what it’s all about. Since its creation in 1971, Maison Darel has embraced a distinctly French approach to non-conformism by rejecting excess, embracing sophisticated tailoring and understated elegance. Over the years, this philosophy has attracted some of the most discerning fashion icons, including Christy Turlington, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Robin Wright.
The impending opening of a new London boutique on Regent Street – to be followed by one on Madison Avenue in New York, then in Dubai and Shanghai – proves that French style is timeless, as long as its DNA and vision remain intact. Gérard Darel knows this, and is reinventing its codes by surrounding itself with unique talents.
