On the occasion of the opening of the first Gas Bijoux Rive Gauche boutique at 10 rue de Grenelle, the Marseilles brand invited its friends to extend summer this Wednesday, September 7 at the Bar de la Croix Rouge. Around André Gas, its founder, and his children Olivier Gas, general director and Marie Gas, artistic director.
A very southern atmosphere floated under the cream awning of this brasserie accorte in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, where terrace sandwiches and pools of rosé were required as an antidote to the greyness of re-entry.
André Gas’s credo was to breathe lightness into women’s ornaments when he launched his first creations in rock crystal, wood and feathers. Born in 1969 in Saint Tropez, Gas Bijoux has become in four decades the reference of costume jewelry made precious by the quality of its craftsmanship and the delicacy of its chamarré patterns. Today, 65 craftsmen manufacture the Gas Bijoux collections designed by Marie and extend by their achievements the happy reflections of an endless summer.
