Nathalie Obadia opens new gallery on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
September 9, 2021, marks the opening of a new chapter for Nathalie Obadia. The gallery just opened the doors of a new space in the heart of the Matignon-Saint-Honoré district in Paris. A 420-square-meters gallery, 125 of which are dedicated to exhibition space, located at 91 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré. Over the past few years, the neighborhood has been asserting itself as an epicenter of contemporary art in Paris with its large concentration of international galleries and auction houses. This new opening comes on the eve of the gallery’s 30th anniversary, which was inaugurated in Paris back in 1993, and now has spaces in Brussels and in the Marais. The opening was held at the same time as the Art Paris fair, which took place the ephemeral Grand Palais. Throughout the month of September, the gallery will be presenting a group exhibition of its artists in its newly opened space. Next on the agenda: The opening of a solo exhibition by Mickalene Thomas on October 7, as well as a Wang Keping exhibition in January 2022.
