Proof that fashion can be committed to a good cause: for several years, Babeth Djian has organized a charity dinner in support of the association AEM (Avenir pour les Enfants du Monde). Djian, who is the honorary president in addition to being the founder of Numéro magazine, once again invited personalities from the fashion, film and art worlds to gather at the Pavillon Ledoyen for a feast by Chef Yannick Alléno. Certainly one of the most glamorous evenings of the season, Babeth Djian always makes the event a success by bringing together influential figures around a good cause. The guests included Estelle Lefébure, Iris Mittenaere, Tahar Rahim, Eva Herzigova, Carla Bruni, Ana Girardot, Emmanuel Perrotin and Lou Doillon, to name just a few; people sat at the tables reserved by luxury houses like Boucheron and Balmain (Olivier Rousteing was present, seated next to top models Cindy Bruna and Valery Kaufman). Highlights of the evening included selling an iconic picture of Madonna by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, plus the participation of Mademoiselle Agnes and Ariel Wizman as the masters of ceremonies, followed by a DJ set from Kiddy Smile, who made the crowd get up and dance. The AEM association, which acts in the fields of education, nutrition, health and development, offers children dignity and a future. Thanks to the association’s actions, thousands of children in Rwanda will be able to access education this year. www.associationaem.com
