Frederic Malle Opens A New Perfume Temple in Rue Cambon
After the historical boutique on Rue du Mont Thabor, Frédéric Malle has taken over a new gem on Rue Cambon. The terrazzo and rough stone cladding, electrified by a deep red color, provide much light in this new space of 70 square meters. Enhanced by the iconic blue of the “Maison” collection, the space is adorned with wood bookcases, reminiscent of the perfume maker’s literary prism. Thanks to a new, inventive classification, everyone can find the fragrance that suits them: the products are displayed according the perfume lines and types they belong to, such as Fraîcheur sophistiquée, Raffiné, Mystérieux, Magnétique, Végétal or Doux. Guests were able to rediscover all the creations, including “Portrait of a Lady” and the latest Acne Studios fragrance. At the far end of the boutique, hidden behind a glass wall, an intriguing little winter garden adds a magical atmosphere. After a delightful performance by Antonin Bartherotte and Victoria Lafaurie, we met Suzy le Helley, Keren Ann, Alice et Moi, Yvesmark Chery and many others.
