Francesco Murano’s Quest for Balance
Making his debut in the official calendar of Milan Fashion Week, Francesco Murano presents a Fall-Winter 25/26 collection embodying his constant quest for balance. This sensation is lost and found in the designer’s creation, mixing sculptural lines and the softness of fabrics. Even the strongest leather used for pants, jackets and bombers, yields under the flattery of Francesco Murano’s curves and draping. So his collection in black, white, grey and coffee offers tight-fitting but ultra-soft dresses that seem made by the hands of a sculptor as he finishes a veil in marble. Instead, it is his experience of sartorial craftsmanship that models leather, jacquard and chiffon. Tailored pants are strictly soft, skirts feature deep slits, and asymmetrical blouses leave shoulders uncovered or open in deep cutouts, in a sensitive play of balances that shows without revealing too much. We may have passed away waking up in drapery heaven. Present in the front row there were Chiara Ferragni, Gaia Gozzi, Mina Serrano and Simonetta Gianfelici.
