FORMA Celebrates the “Next to Be” in Fashion and Creativity
In the heart of the Capital, there’s a festival that serves as a tribute to the creativity of tomorrow. It’s called FORMA – Perspectives on Fashion, Art, and Creativity, an event dedicated to celebrating the young talents emerging from Rome’s fashion academies. This unique initiative offers an exclusive platform for students, creating an invaluable opportunity for those who dream of making their mark in the world of fashion and design. But to call FORMA merely a festival would be an understatement—it’s a dynamic, living laboratory that transforms La Nuvola into the perfect stage for fashion’s “next to be.”
The event, strongly supported and promoted by Roma Capitale, Department of Fashion, Tourism, Sport, and Major Events, led by Alessandro Onorato, in collaboration with Roberta Angelilli, Vice President of the Lazio Region and Regional Minister for Economic Development, Trade, Crafts, Industry, and Internationalization, benefits from the artistic direction of From Studio, founded by Emiliano Frangipane and Francesca Romana Mallardo. Their creative vision has shaped a program that seamlessly blends fashion, art, and sustainability, offering participants a unique chance to explore the future of the industry. This approach—one that masterfully intertwines tradition and innovation—gives the initiative a fresh and dynamic dimension, where the interaction between emerging talents and the audience becomes the beating heart of the event.
“We are confident that FORMA will become a milestone event, allowing us to continue working alongside the academies to build a system that benefits everyone,” Onorato stated. “Rome must be a city of opportunities, a cradle for today’s talents who will become tomorrow’s great artists.”
The festival offers a rich lineup of exhibitions, performances, showcases, and talks featuring industry experts such as designers Maria Grazia Chiuri, Antonio Marras, Marco de Vincenzo, and Domenico Dolce, as well as artists Alfredo Pirri and Pietro Ruffo, and Giancarlo Giammetti, Co-Founder of Valentino and the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation. Together, they will share their visions and experiences with the next generation of creatives. With its wealth of inspiring content, FORMA is the ideal meeting point for the emerging talents in the worlds of fashion and art.
