Forbidden Whisper by Haute Fragrance Company Reveals its Secrets at Le Meurice
To come up with the unique scent of Forbidden Whisper, HFC Paris drew inspiration from the flower-filled fields of Grasse, the birthplace of French perfumery. Elise Pierre thought of blending Madagascan ginger, known for its sparkling, spicy and warm effect, with Sicilian mandarin, which offers a juicy citrus aroma with floral accords and a honeyed base note. Then cinnamon from Sri Lanka brings warmth, sweetness and depth with powdery, sweet and woody accords that put Bulgarian rose into perspective, conferring depth and softness. Lastly, a comforting Madagascan vanilla scent adds creamy, powdery and balsamic notes to the fragrance. This unique combination results in a mysterious scent, a symphony of sensual notes that only illustrator Megan Hess could successfully recreate.
After a performance by dancer Manon Boulac with violinist Marie-Alix Grenier under the gilded ceilings of Le Meurice, we met Adriana Karembeu, Vitaa, Samir Sabe and many others.
