For “Vendôrama”, Boucheron relocates the Place Vendôme to the Monnaie de Paris

Know-how, innovation and creativity have been at the heart of Boucheron’s identity for 160 years. In 2018, the first jeweller of the Place Vendôme celebrated this anniversary event with a large ephemeral exhibition at the Monnaie de Paris. “Vendôrama” is an interactive dive into Boucheron’s world that the house offered last night to its selected guest list, from Isabelle Adjani to Charlotte Rampling, Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers and Francis Kurkdjian. Set up in a tent erected from 12 to 28 January in the Jardin Mansart of the Monnaie de Paris (whose restoration is being supported by Boucheron), the exhibition follows the stages of the jeweller’s work through the rich history of the house – and with the anecdotes of his mascot, the cat Wladimir. On the Instastories of the house controlled by Fubiz during the evening, we became familiar with the jeweller’s glossary, while after the visit (between Chinese cabinet, interactive books and precious stones of all shapes and colors), the crowd headed to the Guillaume Dupré lounge for a cocktail under the gigantic “Spider” of Louise Bourgeois.
