Fondation Chaillot Hosts its Second Gala Dinner
On November 18th, Fondation Chaillot hosted its second annual gala dinner. Under the aegis of Fondation de France, Fondation Chaillot supports the new inclusive artistic projects of Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse, led by Rachid Ouramdane since 2021. Chaired by Laurent Martinet and its founding members (Dior Couture, L’Oréal and Jean-François Dubos) the foundation aims to make Chaillot a place accessible to all, that fosters connection by using dance as a means for empowerment and social cohesion. It thus supports Chaillot’s artistic ambition, promotes choreographic creation, encourages social integration and access to culture for all, especially young people, and contributes to the preservation of heritage.
The many guests at this exceptional evening, including patrons Françoise and Jean-Luc Déchery, the Camille Fournet Group, Tudor Havriliuc and the David and Tudor’s Fund for Good, Maxime Lauthrey and the Lazard Frères Gestion group, were treated to an enchanting programme. After an exclusive performance of LORA, an excerpt from Rachid Ouramdane’s show TORDRE, a splendid celebratory dinner by Yannick Alléno was held in the Foyer de la Danse, which offers a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. An excerpt from the show Hervé x MazelFreten was then presented, followed by a DJ set by Barbara Butch, who set the dance floor alight.
We met Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Eddy de Pretto, Keren Ann, François Hollande, Woodkid, Léo Lérus, Marion Motin, Mathilde Favier, Brune Buonomano, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Françoise Nyssen, Arielle Dombasle, Franck Riester, Enzo Lefort, Hugo Marchand, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Arnaud Valois, and Saïdo Lehlouh.
