The First Edition of the Wondrous and Surprising “Nuits d’Alice”
Just like the iconic protagonist of Lewis Carroll’s novel, whose name she shares, French artist Alice Grenier Nebout invites us to embark on an out-of-the-ordinary experience: Les nuits d’Alice (Alice’s Nights). The Parisian painter has imagined a series of nights where creativity is the driving force, inspired by the spirit of sharing and fraternity. Once a month, these exceptional evenings will bring together talented figures such as painters, musicians, gallery owners, actors or writers. On each occasion, a new Parisian address will play host to a surprising “Nuit d’Alice”, where anything can happen, as the only rule allowed is to “astonish one another”.
This Friday 15 December, Say Who headed to the Hôtel du Nord, right in the heart of the 10th arrondissement, to attend the very first edition of “Les nuits d’Alice”. During the evening, we met Alice Grenier Nebout, whom we had already had the pleasure of interviewing, where she described her work as “something acting like a shield, a way of staying in the realm of enchantment”. She left us spellbound with a series of live performances that unfolded throughout the evening.
