Fiorucci’s Mix Of Reality And Fantasy

Via Bertini, Milan

Francesca Murri’s Fashion Show was an invitation to rediscover the child within us, to look at the world with his eyes, to find wonder in everyday life. It is no coincidence that the designer chose the epicentre of Milan’s urban life, via Paolo Sarpi, as the location for the co-ed show for the Fiorucci Spring-Summer 2026 collection. This is where Piazza Fiorucci took place, an ideal meeting point, where the lives of the most disparate characters intersect. They hit the catwalk in a flashy way, thanks to the collaboration with artist Janina Zais. The body painter transformed the models into living works of art, decorating them in cartoon style. The contrast between the urban dimension and surreal elements involves the set-up, the casting and the collection, creating a pleasantly alienating atmosphere, a worthy heir to the light-hearted approach to fashion of the brand’s founder. The playful aesthetics of the collection is expressed with tight silhouettes, both for him and for her, micro T-shirts, pencil skirts, leggings and small twin sets. Among Fiorucci’s trademarks, mouths dominate, which become bras, micro tops and, above all, the new Lips Bags, in mini and maxi versions. The brand thus returns to being the ambassador of a kind of fashion that redefines the present with humour, desire and wonder, challenging our dark times with grace. Among those enjoying the show were Alice Pagani, Myss Keta, Stephanie Glitter, Bene Schulz, Baptiste Giabiconi, Korlan Madi and many others.
