“Love My Way”: the Hyères Festival at Villa Noailles continues
Day two at Villa Noailles and the 34th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories and Fashion. As is now custom, the members of the jury, journalists and guests gathered for lunch by the pool of the Villa Romaine. The day’s program: discovering the exhibition “Love My Way,” organized by Jean-Pierre Blanc and Pau Avia, which brought together a host of queer artists who work with photography, drawing, sculpture, performance or video, within a scenography designed by Valentin Dubois (Prix du public Design Parade Toulon 2018). The exhibition, running until May 26th, spans work by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, Walter Van Beirendonck, Wolfgang Tillmans, Pierre & Gilles, Eddy de Pretto, Robert Mapplethorpe and Pierre Debusschere. The second highlight of the day was the conference held by Natacha Ramsay-Lévy. Then everyone—notably Chloé CEO Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, Susie Bubble and Camélia Jordana—gathered for the evening fashion shows, to discover the finalists’ collections.
