The “Hall Haus Design Days” Exhibition at Lafayette Anticipations With AlUla Design Space
During Paris Design Week, Lafayette Anticipations is hosting the “Hall Haus Design Days” exhibition, spanning three floors of the venue. The ground floor features pieces from AlUla’s latest design residency, curated by Emily Marant and Arnaud Morand. Artists Leo Orta, Leen Ajlan and Hall Haus present their creations, rearranged for the occasion in collaboration with French artisans.
At the start of the evening, prestigious guests led discussions on design, including Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, Nora Aldabal, Arnaud Morand, Sophie Makariou of the French Agency for the Development of AlUla (AFALULA), Emily Marant, founder of Studio Marant and director of Collectible New York, and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Their discussions focused on the “Hall Haus Design Days” exhibition, and more broadly on the Design residency at AlUla, whose next program was announced.
On the second floor, Hall Haus presents a unique piece exploring the phenomenon of synesthesia, with the “SEEINGSOUNDS” experience, a sound and light installation hosted by Hark and Le Club Sandwich Studio. The fourth floor is occupied by the beautiful One 4 All collaboration, made by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and the collective.
During the evening, we met some of the project’s key players, including Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, Nora Aldabal, Emily Marant, Arnaud Morand, Sophie Makariou, Leo Orta, Leen Ajlan, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Zakari Boukhari and Samy Bernoussi, Pascale Savary and Audrey Chazal.
