Ester Manas or the Art of Playing With Curves

Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre captivated the audience with their SS25 Fashion Show, titled ‘The Elephant in the Room’. From the very first glance, the collection transcended expectations, for its unapologetic and honest way of tackling the use of body, colour and contrast in an industry that often lacks inclusivity.

Known for this inclusive design philosophy, the brand once again made a splash in the Palais de Tokyo with a series of bold pieces; form-fitting dresses hugged feminine curves with unmistakable sensuality, while sheer tops and bright red tights offered a modern reinterpretation of lingerie. This season was an exploration of a vibrant colour palette, marrying deep mauve with lime green and black.

Needless to say, the duo’s signature elements were all present, from impressive ruffles made of unexpected fabrics to cleverly placed gathers but also airy tulle and trompe-l’œil prints. Also spotted: many bright red and pink tights, coupling a greyish-white trench coat or a frilly XXL crop jacket.

The show was closely followed by Hera Pradel, Clara Berry, Uglyworldwide, Mahalia, Marion Motin and many others…
