Équinoxes #9: Camille Fournet Invites ORLAN
For Camille Fournet, this exceptional astronomical phenomenon, the equinox, holds an extra layer of significance. The famous leather goods Maison, borrows the equinoxes’ principle and periodicity to articulate a project to support young contemporary artists. Every six months, Camille Fournet gives carte blanche to an artist to redefine their signature codes. This 9th edition, it was the turn of multidisciplinary artist ORLAN to take upon the task, whose work was unveiled on Monday 25. Her digital photo exhibition, entitled “The endangered elephant of the african forest and new robots made from recycled objects and materials”, blends the Maison essence and her artistic universe, and is echoed in a collection of 14 exclusive products. At the launch evening, we met ORLAN, Benat Moreno, Dylan Raffin, Lorena Vergani and many others.
