Elie Saab’s Contemporary Take on Nobility
With a haughty bearing, tall figures walked down the majestic staircase of a splendid Parision salon in a cascade of silk, pearls and lace. Resembling a work of art, the silhouettes are a blend of boldness and precision made of dramatic volumes, velvet corsets and mischievous lace. The clothes are adorned with crystalline and metallic details, reflecting a fragmented light that fascinated the audience. Everything is soft and silken. Pastel shades, embroidered bouquets, rich brocades: this show definitely embodies the essence of haute couture. At this ethereal show, we met Diala Makki, Becca Bloom, Sofia Carson, Meise Richardson-Sellers, and Heart Evangelista.
