The year 2017 looks promising for the Parisian label Rives. In the past called Les Dandys, the brand worn by its artistic director Sylvain Fischmann combines the know-how of tailor-made costumes with the modernity of a style in step with the times. Freshly renowned, this week Rives celebrated the opening of its corner at Printemps Haussmann and, more broadly, its gradual infiltration into the daily life of the well-dressed man – an evolution that inevitably involves expanding its offer. The members of HER (@thebandher), a music group on the rising slope, immediately adopted its contemporary elegance. No surprise then to find them this week for a private concert during the #rivesparty2017 in the old private apartment of Coco Chanel (just that!) rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, an evening organized with the support of The Woolmark Company. Sylvain Fischmann’s desire to promote artistic creation is evident. So he invited his friend the artist Jisbar (@jisbar) to create, live, a work featuring the master Van Gogh detaching himself from a wall of graffiti – a work of diversion of the images of pop culture of which one of the most beautiful examples throne besides in the shop of the mark in the 8th district. Enough to stir up an audience thirsty for style and new horizons.
