Drouot Pays Tribute to Nature and Drawing with “Trait et Feuille”
When spring comes in Paris, both nature and drawing come back to life. Inspired by this revival, Drouot invited Judith Touitou and Debeaulieu to take over its lobby with a special project. Based on a selection of ten drawings from the Renaissance to the present day, the A.P.C.’s artistic director and the famous flower artist came up with an installation named “Trait et Feuille”. Enhanced by stunning flower arrangements, artworks by major artists such as Pablo Picasso, Robert Rauschenberg or Christo and Jeanne-Claude are displayed to establish a unique dialogue between art, nature and fashion. After the exhibition, open to the public from March 25th to 29th, the artworks will be auctioned at the Hotel.
During the preview, held on Wednesday, March 26th, we met Judith Touitou, Pierre Banchereau, Catherine Baba, Charlotte Chesnais and many others.
