In a Paris under the influence of the heat waves, it is at the Centre Pompidou that one could claim a little freshness, this Monday, June 20. David Hockney, emblematic British artist, presented his retrospective event which has already won over the general public across the Channel. David Hockney, 80 years old, proudly posed in front of his emblematic works in incomparable colours and mingled with the crowd of guests who came to rediscover his pictorial work (but also his photographs, video installations and drawings) exhibited under the direction of exhibition curator Didier Ottinger. Among the prestigious guests were artists Julio Le Parc, Gérard Fromanger and Christian Boltanski. Let us also note the presence of Laurent Le Bon and the Minister of Culture Françoise Nyssen that we were able to meet at the bend of its emblematic swimming pools or its monumental landscapes. To enjoy the last hours of warm sunshine, the evening continued on the terrace of the Centre Pompidou, the opportunity to try to approach the artist to hope to get a precious signature on our invitation. Review of an exhibition not to be missed under any pretext.
