Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg, Guest Artists at Reiffers Initiatives
Daniel Buren is the mentor to Canadian artist Miles Greenberg for the fifth edition of the Reiffers Initiatives mentorship programme, presented by the endowment fund during Art Basel Paris. A highlight of Paris Art Week, the mentorship exhibition opened alongside the unveiling of a unique, permanent installation by Daniel Buren in the endowment fund’s building. The mentor–young talent pairing brought together for the exhibition in October unites a legendary figure of contemporary art with a 28-year-old performer and sculptor who has already made his mark at the Venice Biennale and in New York: Miles Greenberg. This event reflects the endowment fund’s ambition to foster intergenerational dialogue and to support outstanding emerging artists through its mentorship programme.
To celebrate this exceptional exhibition, Reiffers Initiatives hosted an opening dinner on October 22nd, followed the next day by a private viewing, featuring a performance by Miles Greenberg, interpreted by Yseult. We had the pleasure of meeting guest artists Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg, alongside Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, Isabelle Adjani, Thibaut Wychowanok, Mélanie Laurent, Sophie Calle, and Lucky Love, to name a few.
