The Cultural Olympiad with Berluti: A Breeze of Fresh Air
Last Wednesday, Berluti celebrated elegance in motion at its spectacular boutique on Rue St. Honoré in Paris. Founded in that same city in 1895, the fashion house is dressing the French team for the Olympics. On the occasion, the Maison is hosting a photo exhibition by artist Matthieu Forget, who has teamed up with a group of athletes to offer a new take on movement. For him, the beauty of gesture meets the dizzying performance of Olympic and Paralympic athletes. The daring scenography of this exhibition is matched by the bootmaker’s creations, around which large prints and new summer looks are displayed until September 9th. On the eve of what promises to be an exceptional Olympic Games, this event was an opportunity to meet not only the athletes who will be defending the colours of France, but also Jean-Marc Mansvelt, John Nollet, Andreas Giesen, Paul Marque and Olivier Carreras.
