The Exclusive Collaboration Between Yves Salomon and Chapo Création
At the height of Paris Design Week, Yves Salomon and Chapo Création presented an exceptional collaboration in tribute to the pioneering furniture designer and craftsman Pierre Chapo. The Maisons have joined their creative forces to design a collection inspired by 5 iconic pieces by Pierre Chapo: a bed, a stool (available in three sizes), a chair, an armchair, and a lamp arm – each dressed in intarsia from upcycled wool skins. Several patterns and colours are available in a limited edition, and all the pieces are handmade. The collection has the shared values of the two Maisons at heart, that is, their love of artisanal work, know-how, natural materials, woodwork, wool skins and high-quality leather. Raw and timeless, this collaboration will delight lovers of organic and structural style. At the collection launch, we met Yves Salomon, Zoran Chapo, Thomas Salomon, and Sophie Fontanel.
