Colette Jewelry’s First Parisian Boutique Opens at Printemps Haussmann
It’s a return to her roots. After founding Colette Jewelry more than 30 years ago in Los Angeles, Colette Payen took her first steps in the Latin Quarter. A trained gemologist, she excelled at showcasing her first pieces, which she initially exhibited in art galleries, primarily in Mexico where she earned her first successes. The French-Mexican jewellery-maker divides her time between the two countries as well as the USA, where La Maison Colette Jewelry’s signature piece L’ETOILE COLETTE became very popular. Her treasured pieces have been worn by Madonna, Rihanna, Georgia Fowler, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Priyanka Chopra and Arielle Dombasle, among many others.
Yesterday evening was a return to where it all began. In the splendid Printemps Haussmann department store, Colette Jewelry inaugurated its first Parisian boutique in the presence of the designer and CEO. A colourful event where we met the evening’s patron, Arielle Dombasle, who had the honour of cutting the ribbon and helping Colette blow out her 30 candles!
