As last year, the 68th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival ended at the Club d’Albane, after the eleven-day and eleven-night after of great intensity… at least for those who managed to finish the evening marathon program – ceremony > dinner > afterparty > afterparty of the afterparty – and who did not give up their weapons on the way.
Galvanized by the satisfaction of duty accomplished or emboldened by the weight of their laurels, jury and recipients perched one last time on the rooftop of the JW Marriott around the bars Moet and Belvedere vodka. Emmanuelle Bercot and Maïwenn celebrated the premiere performance prize, while Laszlo Nemes proudly displayed a Grand Prize for Hungary alongside the Yorgos Lanthimos Jury Prize. Thierry Frémaux, the team’s great goalkeeper (humm), didn’t shy away from the festive ending clap either, embarking in his wake the palm Jacques Audiard and half of the Coen brothers. Happy end! Curtains.
As a bonus, some new images have slipped into the subject, for a little anthology even more wow.
