Cindy Chao The Art of Jewel celebrates 15 years at MAD
Cindy Chao has just become a part of the history of Paris’ Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The Taiwanese designer is the first jewelry designer from her native country to see one of her creations join the museum’s prestigious jewelry Gallery. Her Ruby Butterfly Brooch, a brooch composed of two rubies created in 2008, is now on display at the city’s prestigious Museum of Decorative Arts. With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, the designer was also celebrating the 15th anniversary of her eponymous brand, Cindy Chao The Art Jewel. To celebrate both occasions, she held a grand dinner in the Salon des boiseries at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD). At her table, sparkling guests like Isabelle Adjani, Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand, Guo Pei, Chantal Thomass, Olivier Echaudemaison and Terry de Gunzburg came together in her honor.
