Christelle Kocher gets behind the next fashion generation at ECSCP
In the wake of the historic merger between the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne (ECSCP) and the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM), 27 fourth-year students from the fashion program presented their work at the Cité de la Mode et du Design. (The Cité is the site of the prestigious IFM.) During a cocktail reception, students discussed their sources of inspiration and exchanged with fashion figures like Christelle Kocher (designer of Koché and the “godmother” of this year’s class), Sidney Toledano (Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group), Pascal Morand (Executive Chairman of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode) and Xavier Romatet (CEO of IFM). “These students have a big opportunity to enjoy Paris’s creativity within the exceptional context of the ECSCP. I am sure that great careers and magnificent creations will emerge in the years to come,” said Christelle Kocher.
