Chien 51: Lacoste Celebrates its First Co-Production at Silencio
Last Sunday, the finest of French cinema gathered at Silencio to celebrate the adaptation of Laurent Gaudé’s acclaimed novel “Chien 51”. The evening was also a tribute to Lacoste’s foray into the film industry, whose first-ever co-produced film will be released this autumn. Directed by Cédric Jimenez, Chien 51 boasts a star-studded cast including Adèle Exarchopoulos, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Louis Garrel, Artus and Stéphane Bak. Set in the near future, where Paris has become a divided and technologically controlled city, this fictional tale revolves around a police investigation unfolding in a world governed by artificial intelligence and exacerbated social inequalities.
During the evening, we had the pleasure of meeting Rahim Redcar, Romain Duris, Augustin Trapenard, Jean-Pascal Zadi, and Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine.
