CHAUMET’s Precious Garden Restores the Splendour of Bagatelle
Back in 1810, Napoleon bought this elegant hunting lodge and commissioned major restoration work for what was to become his son’s residence, as well as the stage for multiple opulent festivities. Nearly 250 years after, on this very same majestic green background, the Maison welcomed friends and clients from all over the world to celebrate the arrival of a new High Jewellery collection: le jardin de Chaumet (“The Chaumet Garden” in English). Nestled in the heart of a lavish rose garden, the cocktail reception unfolded like a parade of exquisite gowns, graced by the gentle, noble movements of the peacocks. Once at the gates of the gala dinner, as the last lights of the day heralded the onset of a summer night, a textile performance invited guests to take their seats. A fashion show followed, featuring models wearing the collection’s masterpieces, ensued by a piano concert that allowed everyone to savour the precious moments of this timeless occasion. We had the pleasure of meeting Miss Song, Gao Yuan Yuan, Cha Eun Woo, Jessica Alba, Salma Abu Deif, Coco Rocha, Natalia Vodianova, Aya Asahina, Sandrine Kiberlain and Pio Marmai.
