Chaumet Celebrates Its Signature Collection “Liens” at 12 Place Vendôme
Back in 1977, Chaumet’s discreet creative director, René Morin, came up with quite a revolutionary idea for his time: to transform a simple sewing stitch into a signature piece of jewellery. A strong vision that was both innovative and daring. The intention? To symbolise the link between the hearts of two people with a cross stitch. Having endured the test of time and fashion trends without ever colliding against them, this iconic piece has become a visual signature not only of the Maison but of the Haute Joaillerie world at large. A master architect of the tiny, Chaumet has recently interpreted this bijou to write a new page in its precious dictionary of love. In the midst of the Parisian Fashion Week, many enthusiasts flocked to 12 Vendôme to discover this new gem, unveiled in a very unique setting designed by the artist Thomas Lélu: l’affichage sauvage! A concept that cleverly contrasted against the opulent golden salons while it echoed Agathe Mougin’s effervescent DJ set. We crossed personalities like Coco Rocha, Lena Mahfouf, Sara Sampaio, Chloé Lecareux, Victor Belmondo, and Ahmad Kontar.
