Charles Pétillon Imbues Guerlain’s New Fragrance with His Poetic Style

Galerie Danysz, Paris

Inspired by the works of visual artist Charles Pétillon, Maison Guerlain has unveiled “Pêche Mirage”, the latest addition to the L’Art & La Matière collection. Charles Pétillon’s white balloon structures can be interpreted as molecules and thus as an allegory for the trail of “Pêche Mirage”. White and ethereal, they resemble an airy, vaporous veil. The azure blue packaging also features white spheres, which seem to be floating away like clouds in a clear sky.

“Pêche Mirage” is inspired by Mitsouko, the Maison’s first fruity chypre created in 1919 by Jacques Guerlain. It unfolds into an intense and enveloping trail in which the sandalwood and the amber tincture warm up the leathery notes.

At this event at Galerie Danysz, which featured a DJ set by Angèle Sassy, we met Paolo Stella, Sarah Stern, Helena Noguerra, Mark Chait, Baptiste Masseline and many others.
