César Revelations 2015 evening

Hollywood doesn’t have a monopoly on glamour. Proof of this was the evening of the Revelations César 2015 hosted last night by Chaumet in his private salons. Cocktail followed by a large dinner at the Meurice introduced by a minute of silence in homage to the victims of last week’s attacks.

For eleven years, the jeweller from Place Vendôme has partnered with the Académie des César to highlight young French film talent. Spotted in 2014 in the French productions of the year (‘La crème de la crème’,’Eastern Boys’,’Bande de filles’,’Eden’,’Un beau dimanche’…), the 32 hopes, sponsored by actors or confirmed directors, made their first steps in the World and tasted the joys of noisy photocall (“” Alice, à droiiiiiiiiitte !!!! Iciiiiiii Aliiiiice !!! Aliiiiice !!!”). A good training before the Caesars, since some of them will be propelled in the category”Best hope” and, who knows, will win the sacrosanct golden compression that will ensure them a professional and media future as well as a head bigger than two Asian watermelons. Answer on February 20th, at the Théâtre du Châtelet (or on Canal+, depending).

Another young image prodigy: Mathieu César signed the short film Les Révélations this year, immersing the 2015 cast in its black & white space-time, between studio epics, SF deliriums and mechanical poetry. A dreamlike and sublime production, declined in a photographic series and a big book more collector than a Pirelli calendar.
