Cédric Klapisch Goes Back in Time with “Colours of Time”
Among dozens of strangers, four people are chosen at random to carry out an inventory of fixtures of an old house in Normandy where their common ancestor, Adèle, once lived. As they embark on an adventure spanning two eras, they follow along Adèle’s story as she sets off for Paris on the eve of her 20th birthday. Her journey takes place against the backdrop of the Industrial Revolution and the rise of Impressionism. Between hidden treasures and the discovery of a mysterious painting, their adventures will call into question the present and their values, in this fable about family and youth. Cédric Klapisch brings in an intergenerational cast featuring young talents such as Vassili Schneider, Julia Piaton, Paul Kircher, Suzanne Lindon and Abraham Wapler, but also some old friends of the director, including Cécile de France, Zinedine Soualem and Vincent Macaigne. Alongside them on the red carpet, we met Cara Delevingne, Sylvie Tellier, Santiago Amigorena, Pierre Richard and many others.
