Casablanca Blends House and Gospel in a Flamboyant SS26 Show
Casablanca brought a surge of colours and good vibes to the third day of Paris Fashion Week. A venue known for concerts of religious music, the American Cathedral of Paris hosted the brand’s SS26 show, “For the Love of House”, in a very joyous atmosphere. With a house DJ set mixed with an impressive gospel performance, this summery wardrobe introduced a blend of styles, halfway between 2000s-inspired clothes and the sport aesthetic dear to the brand.
As always with Charaf Tajer’s collections, it was a colourful show: the silhouettes were dressed in yellow bombers, purple shirts, dresses with a gradient effect, alongside a shade of neon green almost omnipresent. Accessories made a real difference, especially the wing-shaped purses and the tinted, uniquely-shaped glasses. A powerful blend that will surely be remembered.
At this joyous show, we met Mia Khalifa, Central Cee, Wisdom Kaye and many others.
