Carte blanche at PIASA at the Bar du Bristol
For three years now, the Bristol Hotel and the SAYWHO agency have been initiating an appointment around the most demanding contemporary creation. Periodically, a new major player in contemporary art is invited to invade the bar screen and offers to enjoy his selection of videos of artists.
After the Galleria Continua and Emmanuel Perrotin, it is the turn of the PIASA auction house to unveil its collection of works, specially assembled by Timothée Chaillou (director of the contemporary art department) and artist-curator Mathieu Mercier. An appointment echoing the first auction of Piasa devoted to limited editions, and which brings together a series of films directed by Natacha Lesueur, Claude Lévêque, Guillaume Paris, Pierre Bismuth or Aldéric Trével.
