Artist Carsten Höller settles at the Grand Amour

An entomologist by training, German artist Carsten Höller made a name for himself by integrating nature, biology and sometimes even living animals into his work. Take “Circle Division Canary Mobile,” a work consisting of a circular suspended structure made up of two round cages each containing a canary, which was recently installed in the patio of the Hôtel Grand Amour. To celebrate its arrival on Rue de la Fidélité, André Saraiva and Air de Paris gallery invited their friends last night to an intimate dinner. Gathered around the table were Höller and gallery director Edouard Merino, joined by FIAC director Jennifer Flay, African art specialist André Magnin, writer Frédéric Beigbeder, and the artistic director of the brand Chloé, Natacha Ramsay-Levi.
