CARON: 120 Years of Daring
To celebrate its 120th anniversary, Maison Caron is paying tribute to its heritage with an ephemeral pop-up store in its Parisian boutique, located on 23 rue François 1er.
The story began at a memorable dinner celebrating the 90th anniversary of Pour Un Homme by CARON, where a magical encounter took place between artistic director Olivia de Rothschild and visionary designer Harry Nuriev. Their conversation gave rise to an innovative collaboration, where Olivia de Rothschild’s creativity and Harry Nuriev’s transformism come together to reinterpret CARON’s heritage. Together, they designed a unique pop-up where past and present meet in harmony. While the ashlar walls evoke classic Parisian architecture, a central fountain with flowing water recalls the brand’s emblematic fountains. On the shelves, flacons are exhibited alongside archival treasures, embarking visitors on a captivating olfactory and historical journey.
This birthday pop-up pays an elegant tribute to the Maison’s heritage, welcoming visitors to discover and rediscover its timeless universe, which still has many chapters to add.
During the opening, we had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Andelman, Ellen von Unwerth, and Young Emperors, to name but a few.
