Carine Roitfled invites Adrien Brody and Virgil Abloh to her CR Fashion Book “Superstar” party
Just a few hours before this year’s Cannes Film Festival wrapped up, there was one event you couldn’t miss for the world. If, of course, you’d had the pleasure of being invited. It was Carine Roitfeld’s party in honor her now iconic CR Fashion Book. As this promised to be one of the week’s most exclusive events, it was no surprise to see a wide range of hand-picked personalities come join the legendary French stylist at Domaine de l’Ansa. Actor Adrien Brody, 2000s icon Paris Hilton or Virgil Abloh gave a good representation of what glamour the party would bring. The latter momentarily left his atelier (whether is own one at Off-White, or, more recently, Louis Vuitton’s) to have a go at a DJ set alongside Heron Preston. Carine Roitfeld’s influence is indisputable, as evidenced by the myriad of top models who came in their most beautiful couture (such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Natasha Poly or Winnie Harlow). One could also bump into Insta-stars Caroline Vreeland or Sita Abellan, but it was the presence of some big names of the luxury industries that brought the party to the next level : namely Remo Ruffini (Moncler), Fawaz Gruosi (de Grisogono) or Manfred Fitzgerald, Global Brand Chief of Genesis (main partner of the event). The evening, which lasted from dusk to dawn, was organized with the support of Blakes Hotel and Perrier-Jouët. It was unquestionably a winning combination for CR Fashion Book, which party proved to be the Cannes Film Festival’s climax.
