Capital refinement: Opening of the Nolinski Hotel

Paris is full of new addresses and yet, those that are printed so immediately are rare. On Avenue de l’Opéra now stands the geometric opulence of the Nolinski Hotel, inaugurated this Tuesday evening, the first Parisian creation by the Evok Hôtels Collection group, whose decoration was entrusted to interior designer and decorator Jean-Louis Deniot.

Instead of seeking ostentatious luxury, the six floors of the hotel display a surprising and unexpected vision of Parisian life, where the eye is caught by a multiplicity of details from the ground floor. Each of the 45 rooms of the hotel has been treated in such a way as to put forward the idea of a spacious and airy comfort, supported by the decorative tone retained by Deniot – his work seduces with its neo-classical references, its Anglo-Saxon comfort and its very French spirit. To complete this refined stage, the Brasserie Réjane (Chef Fulvio Pischedda, and in pastry, Yann Brys,”Meilleur Ouvrier de France”) was decorated by the artist Florence Girette while the spa Nolinski is signed La Colline.

So it is in this dreamlike and light escapade tone that the guests could discover the place. During an evening orchestrated by the Agence Moderne, Parisian snapshots telescoped: dancer on fabric in the middle of the painted clouds of the stairs, snake charmer and burlesque stripper, swing dance happening and retro photo session to the sound of a DJ set from Les Garçons Sauvages. The Hotel Nolinski thus recalled the historical and cultural side of the district which shelters it by becoming a true link between Louvre and Opera.
