More grandiose than a sweet sixteen in Hollywood but less than an after party of the Academy Awards, the Caesar Party was once again extended in the most undue hours of the night. And for good reason: this year the ceremony celebrated its fortieth anniversary, four decades of cuts, foggy thanks, Fouquet’s and sheath dresses.
Grand winner of this 2015 edition chaired by Edouard Baer, Abderrahmane Sissako’s film’Timbuktu’ won no less than seven awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Music and Best Original Screenplay. As for Pierre Niney, who was crowned best actor for his interpretation of Yves Saint Laurent in the film of the same name, he confirmed his rise among the stars of French cinema. Other recipients, in bulk but equally deserving: Adèle Haenel, best actress for Les Combattants, Kevin Azaïs best hope for the same film, Louane Emera, Kristen Stewart, Reda Kateb etc….
The most spirited of them met at the V.I.P Room after dinner to brave the night on the soundtrack of LEAM and Greg Boust.
