With “Burberry loves Printemps”, Riccardo Tisci’s fashion moves to Paris
This week, just in time for Paris Fashion Week, Burberry unpacked its bags to move into Printemps Haussmann. With “Burberry Loves Printemps”, the iconic British ready-to-wear house has settled in at the Parisian department store until March 22nd with an immersive experience presenting its spring-summer 2020 collection. In addition to the eleven showcases dedicated to the house, Printemps’ guests (including Lena Simonne, Claire Laffut, Ines Rau, Marc Forne and Nicolas Maury) were able to experience the immersive installation designed to mirror Burberry’s Creative Director Riccardo Tisci’s vision. This season, the designer drew inspiration from the animal world – a theme that has followed him from his early days at the house known for its iconic tartan. More than 200 guests gathered alongside gorillas, birds, lions and rabbits. Highlight of the evening: a musical performance by Shay and a DJ set by Bamao Yendé who even had the fashionable fauna dancing that night.
