Bumble Celebrates Women’s Initiative on the Dating Scene
To round off her visit to France, Whitney Wolfe Herd, CEO and founder of Bumble, the dating app where women make the first move, organised an exceptional dinner in collaboration with Lena Situations. The event brought together a whole generation of women to celebrate the 10 million steps taken by women on the Bumble dating app, which strives for healthy and equitable relationships. Actresses, athletes, filmmakers and entrepreneurs gathered at the Hôtel de Pourtalès for an evening designed to honour those who are taking the initiative both in their professional and personal lives. Among them were actresses Karidja Touré, Camélia Jordana and Alice David, director and actress Agnès Hurstel, French fencer Ysaora Thibus, entrepreneur and co-founder of Vestiaire Collective Fanny Moizant, authors Camille Aumont Carnel and Morgane Ortin and many others, who gathered around an exceptional dinner table to encourage women to take the first step and promote healthy and equitable relationships. The menu was designed by chef Khanh-Ly Huynh, Le Dauphin sommelier Périne Thibert, pastry chef Laszlo Badet and DJ Roni. We met Camélia Jordana, Karidja Touré, Ysaora Thibus, Agnès Hurstel, Melanie Huynh, Enfant Précoce, Matthias Dandois and Marie Papillon, among many others.
