BOLD by Veuve Clicquot celebrates daring women in business

The future is female and filled with champagne. Veuve Clicquot awarded Chrystèle Gimaret, founding President of Artupox International, with the “Bold Woman Award” and Julie Chapon, co-founder of Yuka, won the “Bold Future Award.” The awards were designed to recognize strong women who have built, taken on or developed their own businesses and who continue to inspire the next generation of audacious female leaders. And while it was certainly ladies night, the brand also presented its first-ever “Bold Champion Award” for men to Frédéric Mion, President of Sciences Po. Veuve Clicquot presented the awards with a lavish ceremony at 3 Mazarine hosted by the bubbly China Moses who added even more sparkle to the night singing “I’m a Woman” and “Respect” with Gabriella Swallow on the cello and adding bubble banter throughout the ceremony. Veuve Clicquot’s CEO Jean-Marc Gallot hopes the prizes will be more than pomp and champagne and instead lead to “more sharing, more impact, more visibility” for women in business and “to inspire a new generation of bold women.” The award, formerly titled the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award, was created in 1972 and now counts 350 women in 27 countries among its community of inspiring women. Nominees must show entrepreneurial audacity, successfully reinvent tradition and maintain an ethical approach to business. The winners celebrated with personalities from the business, culture, investment and start-up worlds who enjoyed dinner by la Maison Plisson, live painting by artist Rosie McGuinness and of course champagne, champagne and more champagne à la Veuve Clicquot. Also adding their signature sparkle to the effervescent evening were Mlle Agnès, Alice Taglioni, Nicolas Maury, Aure Atika and more… The awards are part of the Bold by Veuve Clicquot program, a series of international initiatives to generate conversation to boost impact and inclusivity among women in the business world.
