Bold Woman Award 2021: Veuve Clicquot awards audacious businesswomen

Created in 1972 by Veuve Clicquot, the Bold Woman Award recognizes businesswomen who have created, taken over or developed their company, thus inspiring an entire generation. Formerly known as the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award, the prize has honored 350 women from 27 different countries. Each year, the nominees demonstrate entrepreneurial audacity, an ethical approach and the ability to reinvent traditions. This week, the Champagne House celebrated a new edition of its award during a grand ceremony hosted by Sophie Fontanel. The writer and journalist presented the Bold Woman Award to Eléna Poincet, co-founder of TEHTRIS, a cybersecurity software company. This year, the Bold Future Award, which rewards an entrepreneur who created her business less than three years ago, was given to Amélia Matar for Colori, a tool to educate young children about digital technology. Once again, Veuve Clicquot presented the Bold Champion Award, awarded this year to Guillaume Richard, head of Oui Care, whose solidarity fund fights against violence against women and inequalities. The evening was attended by Elisabeth Moreno, Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister in charge of Equality between Women and Men, Diversity and Equal Opportunities.
