Chloe Cherry, Lila Moss and Eva Herzigova walk for Blumarine Fall/Winter 2022-23
The Blumarine butterfly evolves and flies away. Nicola Brognano, brand creative director, chose Alcatraz, Milan’s famous disco and concert hall, as location for his fall-winter 2022/23 collection. The setting was completely dark, models and clothes were the focus. No longer a lady, but a woman. Self-confident, aware of her body and her beauty. A woman who is not afraid to show herself: beautiful, proud and seductive. “Grown-up in her self-confidence, the Blumarine woman opens up to a powerful, uncompromising sensuality, free from any preconceived idea about physicality. She’s aware that seduction is first and foremost an attitude”, Nicola Brognano said. Silhouettes are shortened and become mini, as well as crop-tops and skirts. On the catwalk, long skirts have deep slits. Furs and coats are oversized, trousers are skinny. Maxi cardigans are paired with cargo trousers, knitted lingerie or satin shirt. The iconic fur waistcoat is a must-have for the brand, which is enriched with sequins for this collection. The “B” logo is maxi on belt buckles and fur bags. A new entry is the pearl that encircles the waist and embellishes some longuette dresses in full 20s style. Chloe Cherry, star of the TV series “Euphoria”, and Lila Moss, Kate Moss’ daughter, walked for Blumarine. Top model Eva Herzigova closed the show. Sitting in the front row Beatrice Valli, Violet Chachki, Stephanie Glitter and Leonie Hanne.
