BLEU, A Poetic Exploration of the Human Body by FX Pelissier
Whether as fashion photographer, artistic director or graphic designer, FX Pelissier draws from his innate aesthetic sensibility for every project he takes on, ranging from prestigious campaigns to personal series. And while last month the French artist shot the cover of Playboy France, today he reveals a more intimate and personal dimension: BLEU. FX Pelissier’s first solo photo exhibition, BLEU features a selection of works inspired by the human body, unveiling it as a sculptural medium in its own right. Through a poetic and minimalist approach, built on an interplay of contrasts reminiscent of Surrealist photography, FX Pelissier sublimates the female body, immortalised in powerful black-and-white shots. Presented at the HOANG BELI Gallery, on 30 rue Chapon, the exhibition is running until January 18th.
During the exhibition opening, held on Thursday evening, we ran into FX Pelissier, alongside John Hoang, Regis Abby, Wai Ming Lung, and Laure Bourdeau, to name but a few.
