Berluti Dresses Up Pasticceria Cova to Celebrate the Toile Marbeuf Travel Line
In the midst of Milan Fashion Week, Berluti is celebrating its new travel line, “Toile Marbeuf”. To do so, the Parisian House has chosen a very special location, just a stone’s throw from its boutique on Via Montenapoleone. We are talking of no less than “Pasticceria Cova”, one of Italy’s oldest “pasticceria” founded by a Napoleonic soldier, Antonio Cova, back in 1817. The emblematic “pâtisserie” has been completely restyled for the occasion with Berluti’s signature colour palette, which is reflected in details like the blue curtains, which feature shades of Burgundy (For the very first time at Cova) inspired by the Toile Marbeuf. The menu served during the event was also an homage to Berluti creations, in the form of exquisite pastries. In the morning, Berluti hosted a breakfast in the gardens of Pasticceria Cova, gathering journalists and talented figures from all over the world like Andrea Tenerani, Andrea Faccio, Rahi, and Manuel Otgianu, who all came to admire the Maison’s new travel line, inspired by the atmosphere of the Rue Marbeuf boutique. Following the undisputed success of the event, Pasticceria Cova is sticking to this winning formula and will also dress up its Parisian boutique in Berluti colours from September 27 to October 3. It will be the perfect opportunity to plunge into Berluti’s universe and get a taste of their know-how and impeccable pieces, which have been dressing gentlemen from all over the world for over a century.
